Mystery of the largest cave and issued a whistling sound

A big scary cave that is located amid forests and it is definitely going to make anyone shudder chilling meet him, let alone accompanied by strange noises that mystical. This feeling is also likely to be felt by people around Son Doong Cave, the world's largest cave is located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, District of Bo Trach, Quang Binh Province, Vietnam.

The cave named Hang Son Doong or means cave mountain river was first discovered by a ranger named Ho Khanh in 1991. However, no one has ever exploring because very large and the high wind pressure because of the underground river is very large.

This cave accompanied by a strange noises all day and coupled with its cold temperatures actually cause goosebumps surrounding the population.

The strange noises has create the impression of the armature of the cave that locals do not dare set foot into the Son Doong Cave. Belief in things unseen contained in the cave is scary all the people there.

The news about this mysterious cave has been reached the ears of British scientists. These scientists then come to this cave to make observations.

The study involved as many as 13 people combined Vietnam explorers from the University of Science and the English explorers which then held Caving Expedition 2009 to enter the cave. They spent five days in mid-April to survey the cave path.

How shocked they were, when they found it an immense cave. This cave was five times larger than the biggest cave in Vietnam, Phong Nha.

By bringing measuring instrument based the Laser Race 300, the team can measure the height of the ceiling and the width of the cavity along the journey in hopes of making maps. Currently the data are still analyzed.

The results of the initial reports indicate, a large of main cavity doubled the current record for the largest cave. The Cave of Hang Son Doong perhaps the biggest cave in the world today.

After the measurement is finished, it turns out the cave was larger than the record holder of the world's largest cave, the Deer Cave in Malaysia, which was only 2km length, height of 100 meters and 90 meters wide. Thus the Hang Son Doong is the largest cave in the world with a length of about 5 km, height 200 m, and width of 150 meters.

Not only that, the team of the British researchers from the British Cave Research Association has also managed to uncover the strange noises that had been feared by residents. According to them, the strange whistling caused by wind and underground rivers where the water is very strong so thus echoing the strange noises.

After the spectacular discovery  are finished, the British expedition team continuing research around the mountainous western province of Quang Binh and get another remarkable discovery. Eksedisi within one month, they managed to find 20 caves again and thus in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park there are 150 caves.
