Dubbed the Corbett Tiger, animals are found in Camboja, China, Laos, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. Their habitat in mountain forests and highlands, the tiger weighs 150-190 kg for males and 110-140 kg for females. Predictably, this tiger has a population of about 1,200 to 1,800 birds. However, the numbers in nature only a few hundred. The demise of the Indochinese tiger is caused by poaching, fewer prey for their food, habitat increasingly narrow, and inbreeding. In Vietnam, the third this decade, the tiger was killed for medicinal uses.

2. Malayan tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni)

Tigers are scattered in the southern Strait of Malacca. The new Malayan tiger is classified as a separate subspecies in 2004 after a study by Luo et al. from the Laboratory of Genomic Diversity Study in the United States National Institute of CANCER. Currently, the numbers in the wild is estimated at between 600 to 800 birds. Of the three other tiger subspecies in the plains of Asia, the tiger has the smallest body weighing 120 Kg to 100 Kg for males and females. In Malaysia, the tiger is a symbol in some institutions of the country.

3. Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae)

Found only on Sumatra island, Indonesia, with the highly endangered status. The numbers in the wild is only about 400 to 500 tails and live in dense forests on the island of Sumatra. No wonder when the animal is seen primarily in national parks on the island which still maintained its environmental sustainability. Tiger tiger is the smallest in the world with a weight range of 100-140 kg for males and 75-110 pounds for females. Habitat destruction is the greatest threat to Sumatran Tiger. In addition, the number of tiger poaching is also making it less and less. In 1998 to 2000, recorded at least 66 tigers have been shot and killed.

4. Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica)

Also known by the nickname of the Amur tiger, Manchurian tiger, Tiger Altaic, Korean Tigers or North China Tiger, animals are scattered in the Amur-Ussuri region in the Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai in the Far East Siberia. But in 2007, a farmer saw him and gave his picture as evidence. Nevertheless, this photo was doubted by many people. In 1977, past the Chinese government has imposed a ban on killing of tigers in the wild. However, this is considered too late to save the South China tiger from extinction. In fact, most likely when it is considered extinct. Recently, there are 59 known to the South China tiger tails that are still living in the cages throughout China.
